Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Auto & components, Consumer Durables And Apparel and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 3.73% or 1.10 points to trade at 30.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.71% or 0.49 points to end at 18.55 and TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) was up 1.82% or 2.6 points to 145.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 3.23% or 0.05 points to trade at 1.50 at the close. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.89% or 0.56 points to end at 29.05 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) was down 1.57% or 0.4 points to 23.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 96 to 95 and 10 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.93% or 0.84 to $44.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.52% or 0.70 to hit $46.74 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.25% or 3.40 to trade at $1353.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.43% to 9.1518, while USD/NOK fell 0.69% to 8.1951.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.29% at 95.62.
