Investing.com – Norway stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Auto & components and Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS), which rose 1.84% or 2.4 points to trade at 132.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) added 1.77% or 1.05 points to end at 60.25 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 1.44% or 0.02 points to 1.13 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which fell 4.63% or 2.10 points to trade at 43.25 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 4.06% or 0.51 points to end at 12.06 and Norsk Hydro ASA (OL:NHY) was down 2.16% or 1.15 points to 52.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 88 to 86 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.55% or 0.27 to $49.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.08% or 0.04 to hit $51.72 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.75 to trade at $1232.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.00% to 9.1023, while USD/NOK fell 0.01% to 8.4748.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 100.19.
