Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy, Telecoms and Auto & components sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 1.82% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which rose 13.50% or 2.74 points to trade at 23.04 at the close. Meanwhile, Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) added 7.49% or 1.6 points to end at 22.4 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) was up 3.78% or 1.54 points to 42.26 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 2.37% or 0.03 points to trade at 1.07 at the close. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 1.49% or 0.39 points to end at 25.86 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was down 0.69% or 1.9 points to 274.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 133 to 60 and 15 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.97% or 1.48 to $51.29 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.45% or 1.27 to hit $53.20 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.72% or 9.05 to trade at $1260.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.60% to 9.0110, while USD/NOK fell 0.16% to 8.0768.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 96.78.
