Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Pharma Biotech & Life Sciences, Real Estate and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.43% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO), which rose 3.45% or 2.20 points to trade at 65.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) added 3.10% or 0.6 points to end at 19.6 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 2.34% or 10.3 points to 451.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which fell 4.40% or 0.04 points to trade at 0.93 at the close. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 3.71% or 0.29 points to end at 7.52 and Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) was down 2.48% or 0.68 points to 26.71.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 98 to 72 and 30 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.34% or 10.3 to 451.3.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.01% or 0.46 to $46.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.88% or 0.41 to hit $47.04 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.23% or 2.85 to trade at $1226.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.02% to 9.0642, while USD/NOK rose 0.35% to 8.5065.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 100.66.
