Investing.com – Norway stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology Hardware & Equipment, Food, Beverages & Tobacco and Energy sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DNO International ASA (OL:DNO), which rose 7.97% or 1.28 points to trade at 17.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO) added 6.49% or 5.90 points to end at 96.85 and SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) was up 5.96% or 23.40 points to 416.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which fell 7.18% or 3.08 points to trade at 39.83 at the close. TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company ASA (OL:TGS) declined 5.59% or 18.4 points to end at 311.0 and Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) was down 2.19% or 2.6 points to 118.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 91 to 80 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 7.97% or 1.28 to 17.27. Shares in SalMar ASA (OL:SALM) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.96% or 23.40 to 416.20.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.64% or 1.15 to $68.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.95% or 0.72 to hit $74.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 1.50 to trade at $1222.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.17% to 9.5390, while USD/NOK rose 0.21% to 8.1511.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 94.28.
