Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Amsterdam, the AEX added 0.13% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the AEX were SBM Offshore (AS:SBMO), which rose 2.26% or 0.32 points to trade at 14.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Gemalto (AS:GTO) added 1.89% or 0.99 points to end at 53.30 and Boskalis Westmin (AS:BOSN) was up 1.58% or 0.49 points to 31.55 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Unibail Rodamco SE (AS:UNBP), which fell 2.19% or 4.75 points to trade at 211.70 at the close. DSM Kon (AS:DSMN) declined 1.44% or 0.81 points to end at 55.25 and KPN Kon (AS:KPN) was down 0.78% or 0.021 points to 2.668.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 68 to 54 and 16 ended unchanged.

The AEX Volatility, which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was up 3.28% to 14.30.
Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.26% or 1.68 to $53.18 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.17% or 1.72 to hit $56.05 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.43% or 5.05 to trade at $1166.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.78% to 1.0638, while EUR/GBP fell 0.27% to 0.8378.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.61% at 100.98.
