Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Holding Companies and Invest Companies & Other Finance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares declined 1.23% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Oulmes (CS:OULM), which rose 6.00% or 54 points to trade at 949 at the close. Meanwhile, M2M Group (CS:M2M) added 6.00% or 11.70 points to end at 206.70 and Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI) was up 6.00% or 13.65 points to 241.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ib Maroc.Com (CS:IBMC), which fell 5.99% or 6.12 points to trade at 95.93 at the close. Sonasid (CS:SOND) declined 5.72% or 48 points to end at 790 and Colorado (CS:COL) was down 5.62% or 4.50 points to 75.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 24 to 21 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.60% or 0.97 to $59.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.75% or 1.17 to hit $65.38 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1205.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.06% to 10.8370, while USD/MAD rose 0.60% to 9.8238.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.72% at 96.16.
