Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Transport, Distributors and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Total Maroc SA (CS:TMA), which rose 5.73% or 65.0 points to trade at 1200.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Oulmes (CS:OULM) added 3.32% or 45 points to end at 1400 and Lydec (CS:LYD) was up 2.97% or 15.00 points to 520.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Zellidja S.A (CS:ZELI), which fell 5.84% or 7.60 points to trade at 122.50 at the close. SMI (CS:SMI) declined 5.79% or 168 points to end at 2732 and Taslif (CS:TSF1) was down 5.33% or 1.60 points to 28.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 27 to 20 and 8 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.61% or 0.33 to $53.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.28% or 0.16 to hit $56.80 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.61% or 18.35 to trade at $1159.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.17% to 10.6370, while USD/MAD fell 0.28% to 10.1545.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.54% at 102.68.
