Investing.com – Morocco stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Forestry & Paper, Holding Companies and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares added 0.12%.
The best performers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Med Paper (CS:PAP), which rose 3.61% or 0.60 points to trade at 17.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Cosumar (CS:CSMR) added 2.84% or 5 points to end at 170 and Douja Prom Addoha (CS:ADH) was up 2.32% or 0.65 points to 28.65 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Risma (CS:RIS), which fell 6.00% or 9.90 points to trade at 155.10 at the close. Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) declined 5.99% or 13.30 points to end at 208.70 and Maroc Leasing (CS:MLE) was down 5.12% or 20.00 points to 370.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 17 to 16 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Risma (CS:RIS) fell to 52-week lows; losing 6.00% or 9.90 to 155.10.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.37% or 0.17 to $45.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.56% or 1.70 to hit $49.33 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.26% or 2.90 to trade at $1124.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.07% to 10.8800, while USD/MAD fell 0.03% to 9.7315.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 96.01.
