Investing.com – Mexico stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financial Services, Telecoms Services and Consumer Staples sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Mexico, the IPC added 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the IPC were Ohl Mexico, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:OHLMEX), which rose 5.43% or 1.190 points to trade at 23.100 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Carso, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:GCARSOA1) added 3.05% or 2.640 points to end at 89.150 and Banregio Grupo Financiero SAB De CV (MX:GFREGIOO) was up 2.93% or 3.690 points to 129.430 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Aeroportuario Del CentroNorte (MX:OMAB), which fell 1.85% or 2.050 points to trade at 109.010 at the close. Coca-Cola Femsa, S.A.B. De C.V. (MX:KOFL) declined 0.91% or 1.300 points to end at 141.390 and Grupo Aeroportuario Del Pacifico (MX:GAPB) was down 0.85% or 1.560 points to 182.060.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Mexico Stock Exchange by 90 to 75 and 7 ended unchanged.

Gold for December delivery was down 0.23% or 3.00 to $1276.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 0.18% or 0.08 to hit $44.81 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 0.11% or 0.05 to trade at $45.85 a barrel.
USD/MXN was up 0.05% to 18.3284, while EUR/MXN fell 0.03% to 20.1918.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 97.88.
