Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Communication, Insurance and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 3.99% or 235 points to trade at 6125 at the close. Meanwhile, Paz Oil (TA:PZOL) added 1.45% or 840 points to end at 58700 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) was up 1.25% or 82 points to 6622 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which fell 2.24% or 340 points to trade at 14820 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN) declined 1.60% or 129.00 points to end at 7950.00 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) was down 1.42% or 9.3 points to 645.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 218 to 126 and 112 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) rose to all time highs; up 3.99% or 235 to 6125.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.96% or 0.58 to $59.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.07% or 0.04 to hit $67.22 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.28% or 3.40 to trade at $1221.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.27% to 3.8251, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 4.3525.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.17% at 93.58.
