Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Communication, Banking and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which rose 2.77% or 20 points to trade at 745 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) added 1.97% or 510 points to end at 26360 and Melisron (TASE:MLSR) was up 1.87% or 410 points to 22360 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which fell 2.82% or 73 points to trade at 2515 at the close. Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 2.27% or 1230 points to end at 52900 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 1.22% or 31 points to 2510.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 239 to 125 and 38 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.97% or 510 to 26360.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.77% or 0.41 to $52.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.04% or 0.62 to hit $58.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.36% or 5.45 to trade at $1499.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.5390, while EUR/ILS rose 0.84% to 3.9396.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.44% at 97.295.
