Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 4.00% or 106 points to trade at 2756 at the close. Meanwhile, Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 3.80% or 730.0 points to end at 19930.0 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 2.44% or 3.5 points to 146.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Partner (TA:PTNR), which fell 3.05% or 60 points to trade at 1910 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) declined 2.67% or 93 points to end at 3387 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was down 1.67% or 1090 points to 64160.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 202 to 196 and 44 ended unchanged.
Shares in Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) rose to all time highs; up 3.80% or 730.0 to 19930.0.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.06% or 0.03 to $50.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.13% or 0.07 to hit $53.00 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1284.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.02% to 3.6679, while EUR/ILS rose 0.45% to 3.9495.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 99.40.
