Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Biomed, Technology and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.25%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.04% or 780 points to trade at 26400 at the close. Meanwhile, Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) added 2.20% or 430 points to end at 19990 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 2.05% or 380 points to 18960 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ), which fell 2.97% or 16.0 points to trade at 523.0 at the close. Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) declined 0.85% or 230 points to end at 26900 and Isramco Negev 2 LP (TA:ISRAp) was down 0.75% or 0.4 points to 52.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 219 to 180 and 19 ended unchanged.
Shares in Frutarom Industries Ltd (TA:FRUT) rose to all time highs; gaining 3.04% or 780 to 26400. Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TA:BEZQ) fell to 3-years lows; falling 2.97% or 16.0 to 523.0.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.20% or 1.02 to $47.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 2.10% or 1.02 to hit $49.62 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 3.86 to trade at $1250.44 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.07% to 3.5652, while EUR/ILS rose 0.10% to 4.1574.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 93.80.
