Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Insurance, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.70% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF), which rose 2.50% or 120 points to trade at 4920 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 2.35% or 147 points to end at 6393 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 1.63% or 2200 points to 136900 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Avner L (TA:AVNRp), which fell 0.68% or 2.0 points to trade at 290.0 at the close. Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) declined 0.65% or 10 points to end at 1540 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was down 0.33% or 7 points to 2111.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 222 to 118 and 111 ended unchanged.
Shares in Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) rose to all time highs; up 2.50% or 120 to 4920.
Crude oil for August delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $51.21 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.27% or 0.15 to hit $57.08 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.94% or 10.80 to trade at $1133.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.66% to 3.8197, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 4.1348.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 98.09.
