Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Banking and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Nice Ltd (TA:NICE), which rose 2.20% or 550 points to trade at 25510 at the close. Meanwhile, First International Bank of Israel (TA:FTIN) added 1.68% or 81 points to end at 4898 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 1.23% or 26 points to 2145 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which fell 4.94% or 197 points to trade at 3787 at the close. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 3.69% or 1330 points to end at 34680 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was down 1.49% or 300 points to 19800.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 213 to 130 and 101 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.72% or 0.87 to $49.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.60% or 0.84 to hit $51.67 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.47% or 5.95 to trade at $1258.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.55% to 3.8099, while EUR/ILS rose 0.49% to 4.2469.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 96.52.
