Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.96%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:ALHE), which rose 10.28% or 205.00 points to trade at 2,200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) added 6.87% or 303.00 points to end at 4,714.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:BIG) was up 5.14% or 1,490.00 points to 30,490.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which fell 2.51% or 1,890.00 points to trade at 73,400.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM) declined 0.27% or 25.00 points to end at 9,110.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 0.15% or 3.00 points to 1,937.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 247 to 226 and 71 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.14% or 1.72 to $82.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.04% or 1.73 to hit $86.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.75 to trade at $1,989.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.58% to 3.98, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 4.23.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 106.07.
