Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.14%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 4.52% or 80.00 points to trade at 1,850.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) added 4.17% or 1,870.00 points to end at 46,720.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 3.80% or 3,330.00 points to 90,970.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:ENRG), which fell 0.82% or 11.00 points to trade at 1,326.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 0.51% or 25.00 points to end at 4,924.00 and Bank Hapoalim (TASE:POLI) was down 0.15% or 5.00 points to 3,387.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 308 to 152 and 76 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.56% or 1.26 to $81.84 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.38% or 1.18 to hit $86.52 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.06% or 1.35 to trade at $2,162.85 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.51% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 103.16.
