Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Oil & Gas sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.53% to hit a new 3-years high.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Israel Corp (TA:ILCO), which rose 2.67% or 2800 points to trade at 107500 at the close. Meanwhile, Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TA:TSEM) added 2.36% or 185 points to end at 8010 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 1.99% or 310 points to 15880 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Partner (TA:PTNR), which fell 2.52% or 42 points to trade at 1625 at the close. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) declined 2.26% or 50 points to end at 2167 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was down 1.57% or 101 points to 6320.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 221 to 170 and 33 ended unchanged.
Shares in Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) rose to 52-week highs; rising 2.67% or 2800 to 107500.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.69% or 0.47 to $69.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.41% or 0.31 to hit $76.60 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.37% or 4.50 to trade at $1209.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.36% to 3.6138, while EUR/ILS fell 0.40% to 4.2248.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 94.61.
