Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Communication, Banking and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.01%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TASE:ORL), which rose 3.28% or 5.8 points to trade at 182.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Poalim (TASE:POLI) added 2.20% or 60 points to end at 2782 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was up 1.70% or 230 points to 13730 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK), which fell 5.37% or 36 points to trade at 635 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 1.64% or 1190 points to end at 71260 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was down 1.60% or 440 points to 27060.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 208 to 176 and 30 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.64% or 0.36 to $56.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.88% or 0.54 to hit $61.71 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.59% or 8.75 to trade at $1504.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.5321, while EUR/ILS fell 0.05% to 3.9219.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 97.450.
