Investing.com – Greece stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Travel and Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Athens, the Athens General-Composite lost 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Athens General-Composite were Thrace Plastic (AT:THRr), which rose 4.28% or 0.080 points to trade at 1.950 at the close. Meanwhile, Mytilineos Holdings SA (AT:MYTr) added 3.67% or 0.190 points to end at 5.370 and Creta Plastics (AT:PLAKR) was up 3.60% or 0.180 points to 5.180 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Halcor (AT:XAKO), which fell 5.63% or 0.020 points to trade at 0.335 at the close. National Bank of Greece (AT:NBGr) declined 5.56% or 0.01 points to end at 0.17 and Iaso (AT:IASr) was down 5.43% or 0.025 points to 0.435.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 52 to 37 and 17 ended unchanged.

Gold for December delivery was up 0.24% or 2.90 to $1224.60 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 4.20% or 1.82 to hit $45.14 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 3.83% or 1.70 to trade at $46.13 a barrel.
EUR/USD was down 0.03% to 1.0734, while EUR/GBP rose 0.52% to 0.8639.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 100.15.
