Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.43%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 2.00% or 0.68 points to trade at 34.63 at the close. Meanwhile, Metso Oyj (HE:METSO) added 1.63% or 0.46 points to end at 28.64 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.30% or 0.070 points to 5.460 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which fell 1.37% or 0.31 points to trade at 22.39 at the close. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 1.31% or 0.62 points to end at 46.61 and YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) was down 0.66% or 0.04 points to 6.74.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 83 to 56 and 15 ended unchanged.
Shares in Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.37% or 0.31 to 22.39.
Brent oil for April delivery was up 2.10% or 1.17 to $56.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in March rose 1.92% or 1.02 to hit $54.02 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.55 to trade at $1235.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.16% to 1.0642, while EUR/GBP fell 0.09% to 0.8517.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 100.68.
