Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 gained 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Valmt (HE:VALMT), which rose 3.48% or 0.44 points to trade at 13.09 at the close. Meanwhile, Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) added 1.10% or 0.31 points to end at 28.61 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 1.01% or 0.042 points to 4.190 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA), which fell 1.14% or 0.056 points to trade at 4.874 at the close. Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE) declined 0.41% or 0.15 points to end at 36.36 and Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) was down 0.37% or 0.10 points to 26.81.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 77 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Valmt (HE:VALMT) rose to all time highs; rising 3.48% or 0.44 to 13.09.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 2.04% or 0.96 to $46.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.20% or 0.99 to hit $43.91 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.55 to trade at $1326.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.41% to 1.1265, while EUR/GBP rose 0.33% to 0.8532.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.29% at 95.26.
