Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Healthcare and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V), which rose 6.33% or 0.307 points to trade at 5.156 at the close. Meanwhile, Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) added 1.85% or 0.55 points to end at 30.20 and Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA) was up 1.40% or 0.50 points to 36.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were YIT Oyj (HE:YIT), which fell 1.55% or 0.09 points to trade at 5.38 at the close. Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) declined 1.24% or 0.049 points to end at 3.895 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was down 1.15% or 0.0520 points to 4.4870.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 113 to 37 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.15% or 0.0520 to 4.4870.
Brent oil for December delivery was down 0.74% or 0.59 to $79.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $70.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 4.90 to trade at $1222.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.30% to 1.1558, while EUR/GBP rose 0.26% to 0.8785.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 94.93.
