Investing.com - U.S. stock futures were trading in a tight range during Monday’s evening deals, after major indices finished the regular session higher as market participants look ahead to Tuesday’s inflation data.
By 18:30 ET (23:30 GMT) Dow Jones futures were flat, while S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures added 0.1% apiece.
In extended deals, Avis Budget Group Inc (NASDAQ:CAR) lifted 4.3% after the company reported EPS of $10.46 versus $6.81 expected, while revenue came in at $2.8 billion versus $2.69B expected.
Palantir Technologies Inc (NYSE:PLTR) gained 16.3% after reporting EPS of $0.04 versus $0.03 expected on revenues of $509 million versus $503.1M expected.
Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET) lifted 0.7% after reporting EPS of $1.41 versus $1.21 expected, with revenues coming in at $1.28B versus $1.2B expected.
Cadence Design Systems Inc (NASDAQ:CDNS) added 4% after the company reported EPS of $0.96 versus $0.92 expected on revenues of $900M versus $884.5M expected.
Ahead in Tuesday’s session, market participants will be closely watching fresh CPI data as well as speeches from the Fed’s Logan, Harker, and Williams.
Among earnings, companies set to report results on Tuesday include Coca-Cola Co (NYSE:KO), Zoetis Inc (NYSE:ZTS), Restaurant Brands International Inc (NYSE:QSR), Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE:DVN), and Airbnb Inc (NASDAQ:ABNB).
During Monday's regular trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 376.7 points or 1.1% to 34,245.9, the S&P 500 gained 46.9 points or 1.1% to 4,137.3, and the Nasdaq Composite added 173.7 points or 1.5% to 11,891.8.
On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 3.703%.
