Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 3.67% to hit a new 3-months low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which fell 0.12% or 0.3 points to trade at 249.8 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) fell 0.64% or 1.5 points to end at 232.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was down 0.90% or 5.5 points to 607.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 5.56% or 20.2 points to trade at 343.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.65% or 370 points to end at 7590 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 4.60% or 380 points to 7875.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 121 to 22 and 20 ended unchanged.
Shares in Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) fell to 52-week lows; falling 0.12% or 0.3 to 249.8.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.13% or 0.55 to $48.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.43% or 0.72 to hit $49.63 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.18% or 2.35 to trade at $1284.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.77% to 6.6351, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4352.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.64% at 95.02.
