Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.90% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 2.59% or 8.5 points to trade at 336.5 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) added 1.01% or 100 points to end at 10050 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) was up 0.93% or 90 points to 9760 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (COP:GEN), which fell 4.07% or 25.5 points to trade at 601.5 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 3.43% or 12.7 points to end at 357.3 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was down 2.07% or 11.5 points to 544.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 121 to 40 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.12% or 0.94 to $45.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.12% or 1.00 to hit $48.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.09% or 1.00 to trade at $1130.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.6284, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4611.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 96.02.
