Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 1.40% or 4.5 points to trade at 325.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.13% or 4.6 points to end at 413.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was up 1.13% or 3.7 points to 330.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 4.00% or 10.2 points to trade at 245.1 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 3.18% or 41.0 points to end at 1250.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 3.12% or 9.5 points to 295.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.47% or 0.77 to $53.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.80% or 0.99 to hit $56.09 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.37% or 4.45 to trade at $1201.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.70% to 6.9757, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4345.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.66% at 101.03.
