Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 0.86% or 0.60 points to trade at 70.55 at the close. Meanwhile, FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 0.47% or 1.2 points to end at 257.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.08% or 0.20 points to 246.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 3.52% or 320 points to trade at 8780 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 3.37% or 300 points to end at 8610 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was down 2.38% or 3.2 points to 131.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 52 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.54% or 0.59 to $37.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.56% or 1.05 to hit $40.02 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 1.07% or 13.40 to trade at $1270.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.75% to 6.6641, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4604.
The US Dollar Index was down 1.16% at 96.06.
