Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 0.95% or 3.5 points to trade at 371.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.71% or 1.7 points to end at 241.8 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.48% or 2.4 points to 500.5 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which fell 2.04% or 230 points to trade at 11040 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) declined 2.01% or 0.76 points to end at 37.08 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was down 1.95% or 230 points to 11570.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 71 to 51 and 16 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.10% or 0.58 to $53.19 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.03% or 0.57 to hit $55.65 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 7.40 to trade at $1225.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.43% to 7.0443, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4337.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 101.93.
