Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nets A/S (CO:NETS), which rose 1.06% or 1.30 points to trade at 123.80 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 0.61% or 0.23 points to end at 37.75 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 0.26% or 1.3 points to 493.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which fell 1.75% or 4.50 points to trade at 252.80 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 1.04% or 3.9 points to end at 372.9 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 0.92% or 3.9 points to 418.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 59 to 56 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.28% or 0.15 to $53.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.43% or 0.24 to hit $56.05 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.55 to trade at $1238.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.01% to 7.0012, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4331.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 100.86.
