Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.06%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which rose 2.75% or 6.80 points to trade at 253.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 1.69% or 10.5 points to end at 630.5 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 1.45% or 3.70 points to 258.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 6.76% or 59.5 points to trade at 821.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.52% or 7.6 points to end at 492.4 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was down 1.30% or 1.60 points to 121.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 64 to 59 and 15 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.98% or 1.05 to $51.96 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 1.58% or 0.88 to hit $54.84 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.34% or 4.25 to trade at $1236.35 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.48% to 6.9497, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4341.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 100.24.
