Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.24% or 9.6 points to trade at 306.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) added 1.42% or 4.0 points to end at 286.4 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was up 1.32% or 8.0 points to 611.8 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which fell 2.50% or 4.0 points to trade at 156.0 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.29% or 2.9 points to end at 123.9 and DSV (CO:DSV) was down 2.10% or 11.2 points to 522.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 63 to 58 and 27 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.72% or 0.95 to $54.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.43% or 0.27 to hit $62.48 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.26% or 3.45 to trade at $1318.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.5282, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4661.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 95.550.
