Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.52%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 2.79% or 17.80 points to trade at 655.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NZYMb) added 0.93% or 2.7 points to end at 291.5 and ISS A/S (CSE:ISS) was up 0.49% or 0.90 points to 184.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CSE:LUN), which fell 2.96% or 8.1 points to trade at 265.5 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CSE:FLS) declined 2.59% or 7.0 points to end at 263.1 and DSV (CSE:DSV) was down 2.48% or 15.8 points to 621.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 37 and 18 ended unchanged.
Shares in Oersted A/S (CSE:ORSTED) rose to all time highs; gaining 2.79% or 17.80 to 655.00.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 3.52% or 1.85 to $54.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.23% or 1.28 to hit $58.66 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.95 to trade at $1513.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 6.6542, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4634.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 97.232.
