Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb), which rose 2.83% or 10.8 points to trade at 393.1 at the close. Meanwhile, A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) added 2.40% or 320 points to end at 13650 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) was up 2.25% or 310 points to 14100 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH), which rose 0.06% or 0.2 points to trade at 339.2 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) added 0.10% or 0.05 points to end at 51.85 and DSV (COP:DSV) was up 0.75% or 1.7 points to 227.4.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 116 to 44 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.76% or 0.44 to $57.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.91% or 0.57 to hit $62.88 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.70% or 8.30 to trade at $1202.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.23% to 6.9335, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4612.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.21% at 97.95.
