Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 2.37% or 10.6 points to trade at 457.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.85% or 21.0 points to end at 1158.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.37% or 2.5 points to 185.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which fell 1.99% or 2.6 points to trade at 128.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 1.11% or 10.5 points to end at 939.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 0.63% or 1.7 points to 268.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 50 and 14 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.30% or 0.65 to $49.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.30% or 0.66 to hit $49.96 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.14% or 1.75 to trade at $1270.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.61% to 6.5753, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4405.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.51% at 93.68.
