Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.47%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.33% or 20.0 points to trade at 620.0 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.10% or 4.1 points to end at 199.1 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 1.59% or 4.50 points to 288.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which fell 1.99% or 9.3 points to trade at 457.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 1.75% or 10.5 points to end at 589.5 and Nets A/S (CO:NETS) was down 1.33% or 1.80 points to 133.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 60 to 57 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in GN Store Nord (CO:GN) rose to 5-year highs; gaining 2.10% or 4.1 to 199.1. Shares in Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) rose to all time highs; rising 1.59% or 4.50 to 288.40.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.96% or 0.48 to $49.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.35% or 0.71 to hit $51.93 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.43% or 5.42 to trade at $1262.68 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 6.6575, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 97.31.
