Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.24% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 1.80% or 4.40 points to trade at 248.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) added 1.52% or 6.5 points to end at 434.0 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.33% or 150 points to 11450 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which fell 1.50% or 13.5 points to trade at 888.5 at the close. Nets A/S (CO:NETS) declined 1.21% or 1.50 points to end at 122.40 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 1.19% or 3.3 points to 273.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 66 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.47% or 0.25 to $53.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.75% or 0.41 to hit $55.33 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.96% or 10.95 to trade at $1131.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.12% to 7.1554, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4345.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.22% at 103.30.
