Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.24%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which rose 1.28% or 4.0 points to trade at 317.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) added 1.11% or 0.75 points to end at 68.40 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.09% or 6.0 points to 554.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which fell 0.92% or 2.0 points to trade at 215.6 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 0.88% or 10.0 points to end at 1132.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was down 0.66% or 0.9 points to 136.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 50 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.33% or 0.16 to $48.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.63% or 0.32 to hit $51.21 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 2.74% or 35.95 to trade at $1276.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.6485, while EUR/DKK fell 0.04% to 7.4408.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 96.15.
