Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.15% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.63% or 4.4 points to trade at 274.9 at the close. Meanwhile, TDC A/S (CO:TDC) added 1.06% or 0.37 points to end at 35.39 and Genmab (CO:GEN) was up 1.00% or 12.0 points to 1218.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb), which fell 1.50% or 135 points to trade at 8895 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 1.34% or 0.80 points to end at 58.70 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 1.08% or 3.0 points to 273.7.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 72 to 69 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) rose to 5-year highs; rising 1.63% or 4.4 to 274.9.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.82% or 1.59 to $40.01 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.54% or 1.54 to hit $41.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.55 to trade at $1359.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.07% to 6.6596, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4389.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.12% at 95.64.
