Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.59% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb), which rose 2.63% or 3.10 points to trade at 121.20 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) added 2.28% or 210.00 points to end at 9,440.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 2.20% or 19.70 points to 914.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which fell 1.96% or 18.40 points to trade at 922.00 at the close. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.82% or 6.60 points to end at 356.50 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was down 0.89% or 19.00 points to 2,127.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 94 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.41% or 0.32 to $78.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.29% or 0.24 to hit $82.45 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.94% or 20.65 to trade at $2,167.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.09% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 102.62.
