Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.54% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which rose 6.01% or 8.80 points to trade at 155.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 4.73% or 64.00 points to end at 1,418.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) was up 4.40% or 670.00 points to 15,885.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG), which fell 0.38% or 0.60 points to trade at 156.30 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.55% or 5.20 points to end at 946.60 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) was up 0.69% or 5.50 points to 807.30.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 116 to 35 and 13 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 3.55% or 3.00 to $81.53 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 2.86% or 2.62 to hit $89.00 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.69% or 11.45 to trade at $1,652.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 7.57, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.06% to 7.44.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 112.24.
