Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.28%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT), which rose 6.29% or 13.70 points to trade at 231.40 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 4.76% or 740.00 points to end at 16,295.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa) was up 4.55% or 700.00 points to 16,080.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which fell 2.07% or 3.05 points to trade at 144.50 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) declined 1.73% or 17.40 points to end at 986.60 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) was up 0.44% or 11.00 points to 2,504.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 122 to 38 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.97% or 1.47 to $73.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.84% or 1.49 to hit $79.28 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 6.55 to trade at $1,909.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 103.38.
