Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Public Services, Financials and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 0.69% or 10.0 points to trade at 1455.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) added 0.47% or 10.0 points to end at 2130.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 0.33% or 30.0 points to 9030.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which fell 3.98% or 2580.0 points to trade at 62220.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 2.31% or 260.0 points to end at 11000.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was down 1.69% or 300.0 points to 17500.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.67% or 0.90 to $132.82 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.60% or 17.50 to hit $2903.00 , while the June Gold contract rose 0.49% or 6.25 to trade at $1280.45 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.56% to 3009.00, while BRL/COP rose 1.00% to 862.45.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.01% at 94.52.
