Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 1.25% or 0.2 points to trade at 16.2 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) added 1.16% or 400.0 points to end at 35000.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) was up 0.93% or 240.0 points to 25940.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which fell 2.98% or 170.0 points to trade at 5530.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 2.19% or 210.0 points to end at 9380.0 and Isagen SA (CN:ISG) was down 1.57% or 50.0 points to 3140.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 21 to 8 and 1 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was up 2.94% or 3.42 to $120.05 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.78% or 25.50 to hit $3283.00 , while the December Gold contract rose 0.44% or 4.80 to trade at $1108.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.28% to 3026.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.42% to 794.07.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 95.38.
