Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 0.90% or 100.0 points to trade at 11200.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) added 0.85% or 160.0 points to end at 18900.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.44% or 260.0 points to 59500.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 1.20% or 140.0 points to trade at 11560.0 at the close. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.04% or 6.0 points to end at 571.0 and Grupo Inversiones Suramericana (CN:SIS) was down 0.87% or 320.0 points to 36640.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 13 to 7 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was down 2.35% or 3.80 to $157.77 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.14% or 3.50 to hit $2441.00 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.30 to trade at $1183.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.08% to 3175.45, while BRL/COP rose 0.02% to 935.33.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.04% at 101.77.
