Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 5.30% or 175.0 points to trade at 3475.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 2.31% or 280.0 points to end at 12380.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 2.14% or 35.0 points to 1670.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which fell 2.74% or 320.0 points to trade at 11360.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.08% or 60.0 points to end at 5520.0 and Celsia SA (CN:CEL) was down 1.07% or 45.0 points to 4155.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 19 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Celsia SA (CN:CEL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.07% or 45.0 to 4155.0.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.48% or 1.93 to $132.03 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.72% or 23.50 to hit $3272.00 , while the August Gold contract fell 1.39% or 16.70 to trade at $1185.20 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.57% to 2536.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.04% to 822.79.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 94.50.
