Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which rose 2.92% or 105.0 points to trade at 3705.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 2.72% or 480.0 points to end at 18120.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 2.35% or 700.0 points to 30540.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 2.30% or 0.5 points to trade at 21.2 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) declined 1.61% or 400.0 points to end at 24500.0 and Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) was down 1.29% or 480.0 points to 36720.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 12 to 9 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.28% or 0.39 to $137.57 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 1.45% or 31.00 to hit $2168.50 , while the February Gold contract rose 0.59% or 6.80 to trade at $1158.50 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.89% to 2975.16, while BRL/COP fell 0.94% to 911.09.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.80% at 103.19.
