Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Public Services and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 1.79% or 340.0 points to trade at 19380.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 1.25% or 400.0 points to end at 32400.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.19% or 360.0 points to 30520.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which fell 1.17% or 0.3 points to trade at 25.3 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.09% or 15.0 points to end at 1365.0 and Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) was down 0.92% or 380.0 points to 41100.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 16 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) fell to 3-years highs; falling 1.17% or 0.3 to 25.3.
US coffee C for September delivery was up 1.05% or 1.46 to $140.23 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 1.76% or 34.50 to hit $1992.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.49% or 6.38 to trade at $1296.48 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.56% to 2978.80, while BRL/COP fell 0.65% to 937.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 92.96.
