Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Services, Industrials and Public Services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 3.75% or 0.9 points to trade at 24.9 at the close. Meanwhile, Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.82% or 25.0 points to end at 1400.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 1.44% or 200.0 points to 14060.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which fell 0.85% or 180.0 points to trade at 21020.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 0.61% or 15.0 points to end at 2450.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was 0.00% or 0.0 points to 12160.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 20 to 4 and 6 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for July delivery was down 2.32% or 2.98 to $125.62 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 1.83% or 36.50 to hit $1953.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.03% or 13.24 to trade at $1295.94 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.21% to 2893.83, while BRL/COP rose 0.42% to 883.27.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 96.50.
